In Turkey, where a breakthrough in transportation infrastructure has been experienced in recent years, mega projects have been put into service one after another. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said that with the commissioning of Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Line, New Zigana Tunnel, Başakşehir-Kayaşehir Metro Line and AKM-Gar-Kızılay Metro Line, the country will move to the top in all transportation services.

Başakşehir-Çam and Sakura City Hospital Subway Ready for Test

Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Hopefully, in the coming days, we will launch very important projects in terms of transportation and infrastructure one after the other. The most important of these, especially the metro line that will pass through Istanbul Başakşehir-Pine and Sakura City Hospital, I hope we will open in the coming days. Hopefully, we will connect Ankara, Kırıkkale, Yozgat and Sivas with the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed train line, which all our provinces have been waiting for years. In addition, we will hopefully put the Zigana Tunnel, the longest tunnel in Europe, at 14,5 kilometers, into the service of our nation in the coming days. Adana 15 July Martyrs Bridge is also one of our important projects. We will open dozens of projects like this one after the other.”

Final test drives are being made for the AKM-Gar-Kızılay Metro

Stating that the rail system investments continue throughout the country, Karaismailoğlu said that the AKM-Gar-Kızılay Metro Line, which consists of 3 stations in Ankara, namely the Gar, Courthouse and Kızılay, will provide direct metro transportation from Keçiören to Kızılay. Karaismailoğlu said, “We are close to the end of the test and commissioning works. The metro line will save a total of 35 million euros in 378,9 years.
