Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay laid the foundation of Adana Ring Road Sedirler Köprülü Junction, which will be brought to the city by the Metropolitan Municipality. Stating that they will take the Adana Ring Road underground with an investment of 220 million liras, Mayor Altay said that they have equipped the city with new streets, and that they will turn the Sedirler Junction into a crossroad that will be used safely by drivers, pedestrians and cyclists. President Altay said, “We are engaged in the politics of artifacts. We are friends of our President, we serve our city with the power and instruction we receive from our President. As long as you have your support, we will continue to serve our city both in public transportation and in other issues.”
The foundation of Adana Ring Road Sedirler Köprülü Junction, which will be brought to the city by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, was laid with the organized program.
Speaking at the groundbreaking program, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca said that the Sedirler Köprülü Junction is one of the biggest investments made in the district. Kilca said, “Very good things are being done in our Konya. 'Konya Model Municipalism' is walking. We are here every day with either an opening or a groundbreaking. Our job is service. I thank my Lord for giving my dear citizens from Karatay the opportunity to serve us. I would like to thank the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality for providing this great service to our Karatay. I wish you good luck," he said.

NEW ROADS TO BREATHE KONYA TRAFFIC
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay pointed out that one of the most important problems of metropolitan cities is traffic and transportation, and said that they are working on public transportation and rail system while making arrangements for vehicle users.
Noting that they equipped the city with bicycle paths with the understanding of 'Konya Model Municipality', Mayor Altay continued his speech with the following words: “We have done very important works so far, and today we are making the beginning of the Sedirler Köprülü Junction. Hopefully, it will start to serve our city by completing it as soon as possible. In fact, we made a good start by opening Celaleddin Karatay and İsmail Ketenci avenues for car drivers. Abdülhamid Han Street, which is in service as of now, and which will be officially opened soon, serves our city as one of the most important streets built in the last period, with a length of 14,5 kilometers, which will be an alternative to the Istanbul Road, especially between Meram and Selçuklu. We continue our work on Necmettin Erbakan Street without interruption. We also completed our works on Alparslan Türkeş Street, which is located between Gaza Street and Karaman Road. When we complete our work in Taşköprü, we will gain a new axis between Gaza Street and Karaman Road. In addition to this, we continue our work uninterruptedly on the Kazakhstan and Karabakh streets, which we built in parallel with the high-speed train line. On the other hand, we carry out important works to ease the traffic in the 1st Organized Junction, Ankara Road Büsan Junction, where there is a traffic problem in our city, and in the areas where İhsaniye State Supply Office is located. When these are completed, I hope our city's traffic will breathe."
“WE ARE TRYING TO INCREASE OUR COMFORT IN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION”
On the one hand, President Altay explained that they have put environmentally friendly buses into service in order to increase the comfort of citizens in public transportation, and said, “We are now moving from CNG buses to hybrid buses with CNG. Last year, we put 470 buses of 127 million liras into the service of our city with equity. As of now, we are trying to increase our comfort in public transportation by offering 29 solo and 20 articulated buses, hopefully 49 buses, to the service of our citizens this year. Especially in industrial areas, both our ministry of transport and our metropolitan municipality carry out important works on public transportation and rail system. Hopefully, we will share these good news with you soon.”
THE COST OF THE SEDIRLER KÖPRÜLÜ CENTER IS 220 MILLION TL
Emphasizing that the Sedirler roundabout has reached a point where it is very difficult to serve and slows down the traffic on the main axes of transportation, Mayor Altay said, “The tender has been made and we are working intensively at the moment. We will take the Adana Ring Road underground with a total investment of 220 million liras. We are turning it into a crossroad where our citizens coming from the Cedarler direction and going to the New Industry side can travel more comfortably with the illuminated intersection, and where pedestrians and cyclists can use it safely. Good luck to our city," he said.

President Altay said, “We are engaged in the politics of artifacts, on the one hand, we carry out intensive opening and groundbreaking ceremonies in our districts outside the center, and on the other hand, we participate in the opening and groundbreaking ceremonies of both our Metropolitan Municipality and Meram, Selçuklu and Karatay municipalities in the center. Because we are friends of our President, we serve our city with the power and instruction we receive from our President. Our President has set such a goal for Turkey that he makes a start every day that is an example to the whole world and the hope of oppressed Muslims. Under his leadership, Turkey still has a lot of work to do. Hopefully, we will re-elect the President of the Republic of Turkey in the first round of the elections on May 14, with strong support from Konya. We talk about these services, but we also believe that if we work day and night and add the 24th to 25 hours, we would not be able to give them their due. Because Konya became the province in Turkey that gave the highest support to our party, our President. Hopefully, he will blow up the ballot boxes on May 14 and Konya will again support our President with a record vote. The foundation of Sedirler Köprülü Junction was laid with a prayer at the end of the program attended by MHP Konya Provincial Chairman Remzi Karaaslan, BBP Konya Deputy Candidate Osman Seçgin, representatives of non-governmental organizations, members of parliament and citizens.
