Turkey's defense industry giant ASELSAN will be one of the biggest participants of TEKNOFEST 2023, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival.
TEKNOFEST, in which ASELSAN is among the most interested stakeholders, will be held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport between April 27 and May 01. ASELSAN will meet with visitors in the 200 square meter Techno Adventure Platform and 200 square meter exhibition area at the festival, which has become a tradition. Techno Adventure, a social responsibility project implemented by ASELSAN, will also meet with children at the festival. At the festival, five different space-themed experience areas will be created specifically for children aged 9-12 in the area reserved for the Techno Adventure Platform, where entertaining technological activities take place. During the five-day festival, fierce competitions will be held among young minds from all over Turkey who share the excitement of TEKNOFEST.
Young People Will Compete
At TEKNOFEST 2023, ASELSAN will bring together young people who are keen on science and technology with the Unmanned Underwater Systems and Artificial Intelligence in Transportation competitions. The Artificial Intelligence in Transportation Competition, where young people interested in science and technology show great interest, will be held with the participation of 36 finalist teams.
The Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition will be held between 26-29 April 2023 at the Istanbul Technical University pool with the participation of forty finalist teams. In the competition, where a total of 1.401 applications were received, the teams will be entitled to become the finalists by passing the stages of design, critical design and underwater mission demonstration video respectively. The Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition has been held under the leadership of ASELSAN since 2019.
ASELSAN's New Systems Will Be Exhibited
Nearly twenty systems developed with domestic facilities will be exhibited at the ASELSAN stand. Young people whose hearts beat for TEKNOFEST will have the opportunity to experience domestic and national products of ASELSAN such as ASLAN unmanned land vehicle, ERTUĞRUL bomb disposal robot, AVCI Helmet Integrated Control System, İHASAVAR Anti-Drone RF Jammer and Akıncı UAV 45cm SatCom Antenna.
