Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, AK Party Trabzon Deputy Candidate Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the opening ceremony between Kanuni Boulevard Çatak Junction and Yenicuma-2 Junction. Karaismailoğlu stated that they continue to create a storm of services and works in Trabzon as well as in all of Turkey, and said that they opened an important part of Kanuni Boulevard. Karaismailoğlu said, “The main axis of Kanuni Boulevard is 28 kilometers in total, but it is a 62-kilometer project with connection roads. As of today, we have completed the 28-kilometer part of our 18-kilometer road. When we connect our project to the coastal road via Değirmendere this year, it will also be an alternative to urban transit.”

Pointing out that the cost of only highway investments in Trabzon in the last 20 years is 75 billion TL, Karaismailoğlu noted that 28 investments worth 24 billion TL continue throughout the province. In addition to these, Karaismailoğlu stated that there are important projects that Trabzon also follows closely, and stated that Trabzon is developing and its goals are big. Explaining that Trabzon's exports are 1.2 billion dollars, they are making their programs to increase it to 3.5 billion dollars in the short term and 5 billion dollars in the medium term, Karaismailoğlu pointed out that Kanuni Boulevard will ease the traffic in the city, but this is not enough.

Expressing that they have completed the design of the 43-kilometer Southern Ring Road and that they will lay the foundation on May 1, Karaismailoğlu said, “We will celebrate our Labor Day together on May 1 by laying the foundation of the ring road. We will follow our project with the strong support we will receive from Trabzon in order to finish the road as soon as possible. In addition, Trabzon will grow, produce more, export more and attract more with our railway investments, Trabzon city light rail system, new airport and new industrial areas. We will manage what needs to be done with a common mind. We will show them as soon as possible, as in the whole of Turkey," he said.

WE WILL CONTINUE RUNNING FOR TURKEY FOR TRABZON

Noting that they will be in the Zigana Tunnel on May 3, Karaismailoğlu stated that the Zigana Tunnel is the longest tunnel in Europe with a length of 14.5 kilometers, and we have very valuable works in Trabzon. We will do the ganita beach arrangement. He said, "We will bring the valuable work together with the people of Trabzon."
