Work continues on the Kartepe Cable Car Project, where Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will turn a 50-year dream into reality. The production of 10 cabins with a capacity of 73 people, which will provide transportation on the cable car line that will run between Derbent and Kuzuyayla, is made in Switzerland. You will be able to take the cable car from Derbent to Kuzuyayla, enjoying the pleasure of watching the nature and the unique view of Sapanca lake in cabins with panoramic glass on all four sides.

73 CABINS WILL SERVE

The rough construction of Derbent station, the first stop of the cable car line, is about to be completed. Work continues at the other station. The cable car line that will run between Derbent and Kuzuyayla will be 4 thousand 695 meters long. The system will consist of a single rope, detachable terminal and cabins for 10 people. In the cable car project, which will include 2 stations, 73 cabins will serve.

A thousand 500 passengers will be transported per hour

The elevation distance on the cable car line with a capacity of 500 people per hour will be 90 meters. Accordingly, the starting level will be 331 meters and the arrival level will be 1421 meters. The distance between the two stations will be exceeded in 14 minutes. Citizens will travel between both stations with a unique view.
