Li Yong, official of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, said at a press conference that China's civil aviation transportation recorded a steady recovery in the first quarter of this year. According to Li, the industry's total shipping turnover amounted to 39.7 billion tons-km, up 23.99 percent year on year.

In the first three months of this year, more than 68,9 million air passenger flights were made, up 129 percent year on year, increasing 2019 percent compared to the same period of 80. Li noted that the cargo and mail volume of the Chinese civil aviation sector reached 1,49 million tons in the first quarter, reaching 2019 percent of the 89 level. Li added that the industry will show faster growth later in the year.
