Flights Between China and 5 Central Asian Countries Restarted

China and Turkmenistan resumed their regular passenger routes after three years, after the CZ6015 passenger plane of China Southern Airlines took off from Urumqi to go to Turkmenistan's capital Ashabad yesterday.

China Southern Airlines currently operates 9 international routes such as Almaty, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Tashkent, Tbilisi, Islamabad, Tehran, Baku, Astana, and the density on these routes has increased to about 2019 percent of 50.

On the other hand, Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Qin Gang, will chair the 27th China-Central Asian Foreign Ministers Meeting on April 4.

China is preparing to host a summit with the Central Asian countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan next month.
