Fethiye's earthquake risk, ground structure and how prepared it is for a possible earthquake disaster will be discussed at the Fethiye Earthquake Panel to be held at Martyr Sümer Deniz Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip High School on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
Fethiye Earthquake Panel organized by Fethiye District Governorship, Fethiye Municipality, Fethiye Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FTSO) and Fethiye Local Seeds Association will start on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Martyr Sümer Deniz Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip High School Conference Hall at 14.00.
In the panel where the earthquake reality will be taken from every aspect, Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Civil Engineering Dean and earthquake expert Prof. Dr. Şükrü Ersoy, Japanese Earthquake Expert and Architectural Designer Yoshinori Moriwaki and Social Disaster Association President Rezzak Elazat will attend as speakers.
Pointing out that Fethiye is located in the first degree earthquake zone and that it should be prepared for an earthquake, FTSO Chairman Osman Çıralı said, “We participated in the panel, which we organized with the cooperation of our District Governorship, Municipality, Chamber and Fethiye Local Seeds Association, where different aspects of the earthquake risk will be discussed. Our organizations, officials of our non-governmental organizations and all our citizens are invited.” said.
