2nd Kosovo Türkiye Forensic Sciences Congress Opened

The 2nd Kosovo-Turkey Forensic Sciences Congress, organized with the contributions of Foça Municipality, was inaugurated. The 2nd Kosovo-Turkey Forensic Sciences Congress, organized by the Foça District Governorate, İzmir Katip Çelebi University, Kosovo University of Business and Technology (UBT College) and the Association of Forensic Scientists, with the contributions of Foça Municipality, was opened.

To the 2nd Kosovo-Türkiye Forensic Sciences Congress held at the Mark Warner Phokaia Hotel; İzmir Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger, İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor Mustafa Öztürk, Karşıyaka Chief Public Prosecutor Ali Rıza San, Rector of Katip Çelebi University Prof. Dr. Saffet Köse, Kosovo University Of Business And Technology Rector Prof. Dr. Edmond Hayrizi, Foça District Governor Mehmet Türköz, Foça Mayor Fatih Gürbüz, İzmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Medicine Head of Forensic Medicine Department Hamit Hancı, former Minister of Justice of Kosovo Altan Suroy, Foça Public Prosecutor Ali Çelikel, Foça Public Prosecutor Mücahit Çınar, General Manager Bilge Duru, Ayvalık District Health Director Ethem Ganigil, department heads, representatives of political parties, members of non-governmental organizations participated.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Foça District Governor Mehmet Türköz stated that they are happy to host the international conference that will last for 2 days and said:

“Today, although we do not provide information on the latest point of current and scientific studies in the field of forensic medicine and forensic sciences in the world and in our country, we have gathered to make an evaluation of the problems encountered in applications and solution proposals at this point, and to raise the bar for my studies and practices. I would like to express my respect and love with the hope that this congress will reach a science tourism in the coming years.”
