sustainable agriculture

Stating that sustainable agricultural practices are needed for a good and healthy future, Bornova Mayor Dr. Mustafa İduğ said, “We are working to carry ancestral seeds to the future and to protect our local seeds. We distribute the ancestral seeds, which we obtain from the products we grow in our local seed garden, to those who make agricultural production in Bornova and to our citizens who want it. Thus, we strive to support sustainable agriculture with seeds and seedlings that have evolved according to the unique conditions of this region, that require less irrigation and less fertilizer.”
