Cleaning work was carried out in rural areas in the district by Keçiören Municipality. The 'Keçiören Municipality Nature Cleaning Team', which cleans the areas in Kösrelik, Sarıbeyler, Çalseki and Güzelyurt villages of Keçiören, worked hard to collect the wastes left on the roadsides. In the cleaning work, kilos of waste such as plastic, paper and glass, which are difficult to recycle, were collected and disposed of.
Reminding that the wastes left to nature damage both the soil and groundwater, Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok said, “We should not leave our wastes to nature for our water, soil and forests. We pay great attention to the cleanliness of our villages and recreation areas. We frequently clean the areas where our citizens spend time in touch with nature.
