Underlining that they will ensure that more citizens can benefit from the ongoing support, Minister Yanık said, “Applications for Glucose Measuring Device Aid for children diagnosed with type-1 diabetes in social assistance beneficiary households continue. In addition, we have made a new arrangement in the Glucose Measuring Device Assistance, which we have implemented for our citizens diagnosed with type-1 diabetes. We are expanding our Glucose Meter Assistance to include our citizens aged 1-0, who are social assistance beneficiaries diagnosed with type-22 diabetes.”

Stating that they will provide some conveniences for the citizens in the earthquake region with the Glucose Measuring Device Support, Minister Yanık said:

“Last month, we delivered 987 arm-mounted glucose measurement sensors purchased by our Ministry to meet the needs of our citizens in the earthquake zone. Now, we are making use of our program by all our citizens aged 1-0 who have been diagnosed with type-22 diabetes and affected by the disaster in the earthquake region, without seeking the criteria of neediness.”

Minister Yanık reminded that social assistance beneficiary families who want to benefit from the support can apply to the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations in the district where they reside.
