The European Union will provide free train tickets to 18 thousand 35-year-olds from some countries, including Turkey, so that they can tour Europe.
The DiscoverEU initiative under the Erasmus+ program will offer young people in EU member states and countries participating in the Erasmus+ program Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey the opportunity to win free train tickets valid for up to 30 days. Applications will be made online and only 18-year-olds can benefit from this right.
To qualify for the free ticket, those born between 1 July 2004 and 30 June 2005 must answer the questions asked in the quiz on “youth.europa.eu/discovereu_en” by 29 March 2023.
Selected youth will be able to use their tickets in European countries for a maximum of 15 days between 2023 June 30 and 2024 September 30.
