The World Dance Sports Federation showed its solidarity with the Turkish people trying to heal their wounds in the earthquake by returning the 2023 membership fee of its member, the Turkish Dance Sports Federation. This gesture from the world moved President Tolga Han Çinkitaş.
Messages of support and solidarity for our country continue to come from around the world regarding the 6 February earthquake in Turkey, which is described as the disaster of the century. The last support came from the World Dance Sports Federation (WDSF), the umbrella organization of the world in dance sports. WDSF, of which the Turkish Dance Sports Federation (TDSF) is a member, refunded Turkey's annual fee. The Turkish Dance Sports Federation, headed by Tolga Han Çinkitaş, known as the man who made dance popular in Turkey, received an emotional letter from WDSF executives.
Expressing its condolences and wishes to all Turkish people due to the earthquake, the organization stated that its member Turkish Dance Sports Federation has returned its 2023 dues for this reason. He was touched by this gesture and said, “This inclusive gesture of the community we are a member of has given us all morale. We sent this amount as aid to our clubs in the earthquake zone,” said Chairman Tolgahan Çinkitaş, and conveyed his thanks to the WDSF administrators who showed solidarity.
