Statement by AFAD on the Earthquake in Bolu
Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) President Yunus Sezer stated that there is no negative situation regarding the earthquake that occurred in Bolu as of now.
President Sezer's statement on his social media account is as follows: “After the 4,8-magnitude earthquake that occurred in our Bolu province, there is no negative situation as of now. Field scanning studies are continuing. I would like to extend my best wishes to our citizens in the region.”

Bolu Governor Erkan Kılıç said after the earthquake, "There has been no adverse event in our city, the scanning continues." Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya said, “According to Bolu-based AFAD data, an earthquake of 13.55 magnitude occurred at 4.8. Due to the earthquake, no adverse event notification was received in Istanbul. May Allah protect our country and nation from all disasters.
