The Defense Industry Media Summit will be held under the auspices of the Presidency of Communications and with the support of the Presidency of Defense Industries on March 20 at Technopark Ankara.
In the written statement made by the Defense Industry Research Center (SASAM), the following information about the summit was given:
“Aiming to fill an important gap and need in the Turkish defense industry, the summit has three purposes. First purpose; The aim is to bring together the corporate communication units, defense industry press and national press employees of defense industry companies, to enable them to meet, to share experiences and to mediate the exchange of ideas.
Second purpose; With the panels, interviews and workshops to be held, topics such as marketing communication in the defense industry, the contribution of defense industry news to exports, and the evaluation of defense industry news in terms of intelligence will be discussed.
Third purpose; At the summit, an environment will be created where defense industry companies can express their expectations from the press and the press can express their expectations from defense industry companies. With these goals, the Summit will mediate the parties to communicate more healthily and to ensure that the news prepared reaches the required quality.”
Companies and media organizations that wish will hold their meetings at their own stand, and those who do not have a stand will hold their meetings in areas designated for B2B.
Managers of defense industry companies, officials of corporate communication and business development units, managers and employees of national press organizations, and representatives of press organizations operating in the defense industry sector will attend the summit.
In the panels and interviews to be held within the scope of the summit, which will bring together the corporate communication and business development units of defense industry companies, the sector press and the national press, important issues related to the communication, business development and export of the defense industry will be discussed.
