Ankara Metropolitan Municipality started to restructure the debts of citizens to the municipality. Ankara residents who want to take advantage of the configuration opportunity will be able to apply online or at the Metropolitan Municipality Financial Services Department desk until May 31, 2023.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality provides restructuring opportunities to taxpayers who owe the Metropolitan Municipality in tax and other matters.
Within the scope of the “Law on the Restructuring of Certain Receivables and the Amendment of Certain Laws” numbered 7440, which was published in the Official Gazette, taxpayers will be able to restructure their debts before 31 December 2022 along with other penalties.
LAST DAY MAY 31
Capital taxpayers, who want to take advantage of the restructuring opportunity, will be able to make their restructuring applications online at "ebelediye.ankara.bel.tr/ebelediye/" or at the bank of the Metropolitan Municipality Financial Services Department until May 31, 2023.
The first installment of the amounts to be paid to the Metropolitan Municipality will be paid until June 30, 2023, and the other installments can be paid in equal installments divided up to 48 months in monthly periods following this date.
On the other hand, 25 percent discount will be applied to administrative fines structured within the scope of the law, and payment will be facilitated.
OPPORTUNITY OF INSTALLMENTS UP TO 48 MONTHS
Head of Financial Services Department, Mesut Hastürk, stated that they advise citizens who owe municipalities to benefit from the law, which provides great ease of payment, and made the following assessments:
“The law numbered 7440 on the structuring of tax fees and similar receivables was enacted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The taxpayers of our municipality are also within the scope of this law. In this context, our municipality's taxpayers owe to the municipality, such as advertisement tax, entertainment tax and similar taxes, fees, duties and fees. In addition, rent receivables, administrative fines and the like, especially participation shares in expenditures are also within the scope. Our taxpayers can apply to our Municipality online or in person until May 31, 2023. Within the scope of the restructuring, we can provide the taxpayers whose petitions we receive with the opportunity to pay in equal monthly installments up to 48 months.”
PAYABLES WITHIN THE SCOPE OF STRUCTURING
In addition to the tax debts that are allowed to be restructured within the scope of the law numbered 7440, other debts to be restructured are as follows:
-Participation shares for road expenses,
- Stabilized technical infrastructure fee,
- Municipalities' rent and compensation receivables,
-Administrative fines,
-Announcement and advertisement tax,
-Entertainment tax,
-Fire insurance tax,
-Occupation fee,
-Pleasure,
-Waste water cost
- Fees received within the scope of Article 2464 of the Law on Municipal Revenues No. -97.
SUSPENDED PAYABLES ARE ALSO STRUCTURED
ASKİ General Directorate also structures the unpaid water, wastewater, illegal water, pollution prevention share, channel and network participation fees and the related interest and delay interest within the scope of the law.
