Eye Examination for Earthquake Victims Coming to Ankara

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB), Department of Health Affairs, in cooperation with Keçiören Dünya Eye Hospital, carried out free eye health screening for earthquake victims who came to Ankara after the earthquake disaster.

Earthquake survivors staying at Kesikköprü Facilities participated in the free eye examination. In addition to a detailed eye examination, ABB also met the eyeglasses needs of earthquake survivors, who had great difficulties as a result of the breaking or loss of glasses they had to use due to the earthquake.

Stating that they will continue to use all the facilities of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for the earthquake victims, Seyfettin Aslan, Head of Health Affairs Department, gave the following information about the free eye health screening:

“As Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we cooperated with Dünya Eye Hospital to solve the eye problems and glasses problems of the earthquake victims we hosted. Today, our patients will have their examinations. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we will also provide their glasses.”

Keçiören World Eye Hospital Chief Physician Rahmi Duran, who expressed their great pleasure in cooperating with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for the earthquake victims, said, "As Dünya Eye Hospitals Group, we are very happy to perform eye examinations of earthquake victims, and we will continue to provide all kinds of support."
