Edirne Municipality Directorate of Transportation Services announced that due to the High Speed Train Road works in Edirne city center, going to and coming from the direction of Karaağaç over the Tunca Bridge will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for 06 days on 07-08-09-10-2023 March 5.
The written statement made by Edirne Municipality Transportation Services Directorate included the following;
“Due to the High Speed Train works going on in Edirne city center, the Karaağaç direction over Tunca Bridge will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for 06 days on 07-08-09-10-2023 March 5.
In the work to be done, the Railway Overpass located at the intersection of Lozan Caddesi-Saraçlar Caddesi-Köprübaşı Caddesi-Alemdar Sokak will be completely demolished, and it is planned that the demolition and subsequent excavation work will start at 06.03.2023 on 10.00 and be completed on 10.03.2023. After the demolition and excavation process, the road will be cleared and opened to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Therefore;
Our citizens who will go from the city center to the direction of Karaağaç and from the Karaağaç District to the city center, Dr. Using the Mehmet Müezzinoğlu Bridge,
Business owners, employees, those who will transport materials and our citizens who have to go between the two bridges are kindly requested to go from the Gazimihal Bridge and use the direction of DSI Social Facilities Road (9991. Street and Zafer Tangör Street).
