THE PEOPLE OF BAŞKENT AND THE TRADES FROM KAHRAMANMARAŞ ONE HEART

On the fifth day of Kahramanmaraş Solidarity Days, the people of Başkent supported the tradesmen as much as they could by visiting the stands and purchasing products one by one. Stating that the organization was very good for them not only financially but also spiritually, the tradesmen thanked ABB and the people of Ankara with the following words:

Faruk Ciftaslan: “We experienced a disaster, not an earthquake. We are now in Ankara. We cannot repay our President Mansur Yavaş. We were very pleased as Kahramanmaraş tradesmen. It was a new blood in the trade. We have improved psychologically and we are making good money.”

Ibrahim Aksuye: “Our sales are very good, and we are very happy to be offered such an opportunity. In particular, our people have a great interest. Many people come to support the tradesmen coming from the earthquake area, and this makes us very happy. At least, I think it will enable us to develop faster. We would also like to thank ABB for its support in this regard.”

Mustafa Can Morkaya: “Our sales are very good right now. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this organization. Thank you very much for bringing us together with these people in this environment. It was an event that brought us morale to the maximum level. We saw nothing but the wreckage in Kahramanmaraş. We're here, and even talking to people feels good. Even if the people of Ankara do not need it, they shop to support the shopkeepers. At least they ask how we are, and we thank you very much for that.”

Tugba Belli: “This organization was like a breath after 43 days. Even if nothing happens, we stay here, eat, drink, this organization makes us forget the bad things. We no longer have a Kahramanmaraş to return to. Each of us was thrown into different cities. Thanks to our president, we will stand up again with such organizations.”

Meral Buyukceylan: “We really felt the Capital on our side. First of all, we would like to thank our president very much. The mayors and deputies of our own city left us alone, but ABB President Mansur Yavaş supported us. It made us forget our loneliness. So we can forget our troubles for a bit. We came here, it gave us a little morale. We also saw the closeness and support of people and we felt better.”

Ayşe Palabiyik: “I am here for my friend Çiğdem Nalçacı. We could not find his living or dead body in Ebrar Site, which is the symbol of the earthquake. He has a son entrusted to him and a silver company that he designed himself. At her son's request, we put up for sale the jewelry designed by Çiğdem. We are selling something for the first time in our life for our friend. Çiğdem's son wanted the income from this to go to earthquake victims. We are grateful to Mansur President. He worked in Kahramanmaraş from the first moment of the earthquake. As tradesmen here, we were amazed by the people of Ankara. Ankara is now a sister city for me. We cannot express our gratitude for our pain.”

Embracing the shopkeepers of Kahramanmaraş and providing financial and moral support, Başkent residents stated that a special and meaningful organization was held and said:

Gönül Redduman: “We came specifically to support. We are also in mourning for our citizens who died in the earthquake. We bought the famous products of Kahramanmaraş.”

Behiye Deaf: “We bought both local products and the products we needed. We greatly appreciate ABB, it grows everywhere. We try to be as supportive as we can.”

Honor Wise Kula: “I find this event organized by ABB to support tradesmen very meaningful. I care a lot in terms of both a human feeling and not being insensitive to other people's problems.”
