Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality opened the only lane of the road in front of the destroyed Galeria site to traffic.
The road in front of the Galeria site, which was demolished in a controlled manner, was closed to traffic for security reasons, since 2 blocks were destroyed in the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes and the other blocks were heavily damaged.
After the complete demolition of the Galeria site and business center on Elazig Boulevard in Yenişehir district, the Metropolitan Municipality took action to ease the traffic.
After the meeting with the Metropolitan Municipality and the Provincial Police Department, it was decided to open one lane of the road to traffic.
The teams of the Department of Transportation ensured traffic flow and safety on the road by assembling 80 delineators, 7 direction and 8 traffic signs.
After the work, vehicles started to use the road as a single lane.
