An agreement was reached between TransportationPark AŞ, one of the affiliates of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, and Demir Yol-İş Union. With the agreement that both parties were satisfied with, the lowest salary in TransportationPark was 19 TL. Speaking at the signing ceremony held at the General Directorate of Transportation Park, Balamir Gündoğdu, the Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, said, "I wish the collective business meetings held to be beneficial to everyone."

In addition to Gündoğdu, Transportationpark General Manager Serhan Çatal, Türk-İş Regional President Adnan Uyar, Demiryol-İş Union Adapazarı Branch President Cemal Yaman, Local-Sen Deputy Secretary General İbrahim Halil Çelik and union representatives attended the signing ceremony. With the collective agreement concerning 1400 workers in TransportationPark, daily wages were increased by 63 percent and social rights were also improved. The duration of the contract was increased from 2 years to XNUMX years.
