Continuing in EdirneHalkalıIn the ongoing part of the "Kapikule High Speed ​​​​Train" project at the Turkish Culture Handicrafts Production and Development Center, tombs belonging to the Ottoman period were found.

Kapikule, the construction of which started in 2019 by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure,Halkalı The first phase of the "High Speed ​​​​Train" project Çerkezköy- Within the scope of the works in the center of Edirne within the scope of the Kapikule line, old graves were found in the excavations made with ladles in the garden of the Turkish Culture Handicrafts Production and Development Center of the Edirne Municipality, next to the Tunca River.

Officials from the Edirne Museum Directorate determined that the tombs belonged to the Ottoman period. The stones of the 6 graves excavated in the first stage will be preserved by the Museum Directorate.
