In order to continue search and rescue efforts more effectively in Foça, teams of disaster volunteers have been established in the neighborhoods and training meetings have begun.
Citizens who want to get information about disaster and take part in studies attended the training meeting held in Foça district of İzmir.

Foça Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers (MAG) Coordinator Canan Limnili said, “We established our neighborhood disaster volunteers team about a year ago, we currently have 34 members, but after the last disaster we experienced, there was a lot of participation among us. We always say that the more education, the more awareness and the more resilient societies. I invite all Foça people to join us.” said
Karşıyaka Okşan Mersin, Chairman of the Disaster Working Group of the Municipality City Council, said, “This MAG organization, which I have been working on for years, was very exciting.
