Muğla Metropolitan Receives 60 Buses, Expands Its Fleet

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality is purchasing 60 new buses to continue its uninterrupted transportation service and to improve its fleet. With these buses, it increases the number of buses from 282 to 342.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality is purchasing 60 new buses in order to rejuvenate its bus fleet, expand its transportation network and continue its modern transportation service. The buses, which will be purchased by the Metropolitan Municipality, will be assigned to 13 districts and will provide transportation services.

Environmentally Responsible Buses

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality will start service after the purchase of the buses to be brought to Muğla, so that even the citizens in the most remote point of Muğla can benefit from the transportation service without any problems. The 60 new buses that the Metropolitan Municipality will add to its inventory will be state-of-the-art products that respect nature and people. In the new buses to be taken, every precaution will be taken to ensure that the disabled can travel comfortably. In addition, vehicles with low exhaust gas emissions are preferred, while providing better service to Muğla, sensitivity is also shown in the protection of nature.

Number of Buses Increases to 342

With Muğla becoming a Metropolitan Municipality in 2014, there are 110 public transportation vehicles and this number will increase to 60 with 342 new buses to be purchased. Thus, the rate of public transportation of the Metropolitan Municipality will be increased to 21,31 percent throughout the province. The rest is done by Private Public Transport Vehicles (ÖTTA), which is also under the control of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality.
