Family and Social Services Minister Derya Yanık announced that they started to deposit a total of 2 billion 417 million TL Home Care Assistance into accounts this month in order to provide economic support to severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care.
Minister Derya Yanık reminded that with the Home Care Assistance, which was initiated in 2006 with the idea of supporting disabled people primarily with their families, citizens with severely disabled relatives who need care and who cannot work because they take care of them are supported.
Minister Yanık stated that the Home Care Assistance was increased from 2023 TL to 3.336 TL for the January-July period of 4.336, adding, “This month, a total of 2 billion 417 million TL Home Care Assistance has been added to the accounts for the severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care. We started investing. This month, 564 of our citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance. I wish good luck to all our disabled citizens. As the Ministry, we will continue to develop policies with a rights-based perspective so that people with disabilities can fully reach their basic rights such as education, health, security and employment.” used his statements.
