The Department of Science Affairs is also starting infrastructure works for the container city.

The work of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality to establish a container city in Hatay continues at full speed. While all the needs of earthquake victims are met in the tent city under the responsibility of Hatay Disaster Coordination Center, intensive work is being carried out to establish a container city that will provide shelter for 200 families. The Department of Science Affairs is also starting infrastructure works for the container city.

Metin Aydın, who works as a road foreman in Hatay and within the scope of the Department of Science Affairs, said, “We support the debris removal works with 8 construction machines, 10 trucks and 64 colleagues, on the one hand, we work on the construction of the container city, which can accommodate 23 families in our 200-decare area. we continue. We will start the infrastructure works as soon as possible. We also manufacture the containers with our own teams.”
