China, Russia and Iran to Hold Joint Exercise in the Gulf of Oman

It has been announced that the naval forces of China, Iran and Russia will hold joint exercises in the Gulf of Oman on March 15-19. The three countries in question will hold joint naval exercises for the third time after 2019 and 2022.

By sending a guided missile destroyer named Nanning to the joint exercise, China will participate in training in areas such as air search and sea rescue. The joint exercise will not only be beneficial for deepening the concrete cooperation between the naval forces of the participating countries, but will also show the will and ability of the parties to jointly protect maritime security and build a partnership of destiny at sea.
