Çankırı Mayor İsmail Hakkı Esen took action for the 3rd phase of the Urban Transformation and Development Project. A technical consultancy service procurement tender was held for a 10-hectare area known as Eski Çankırı, which covers a part of Karatekin, Inciliçeşme Neighborhoods and Buğday Pazarı Neighborhood in the center of the city.

Mayor İsmail Hakkı Esen, who met with the neighborhood headman and members, prominent opinion leaders and the technical team to follow the working process for the project, announced that they would carry out the 2012rd stage works, which were published in the official newspaper in 3 but were not started for some reasons, by the municipality.

President Esen stated that they have focused on urban transformation studies since the day they took office and said, “The first two stages in Çankırı were carried out through TOKİ. However, due to some reasons, the 3rd phase works were interrupted. When we took office, we worked hard for this process, we had many meetings. Even in the districts of Çankırı, urban transformation progressed more and more rapidly. Every delay in this area turns into an economic loss for our people. We, too, decided to take on this important responsibility in one more area with a common mind and common decision, and to take the responsibility. Whatever our citizens want from us, we will decide together and we will do it together.” said.

Esen stated that they obtained the tender approval on January 3, 20 for the 2023rd stage, which will be carried out with the organization of Çankırı Municipality, and the technical consultancy service procurement process for the 3rd stage and the delivery of the site as of March 10, 2023, “We will make the people of Çankırı host. We will also make the region a center of attraction.” said.

Within the scope of the studies; It is aimed to create designs suitable for the architecture and silhouette of the region by taking into account the economic conditions of the citizens by conducting interviews with the people of the region and the rightful citizens, field studies, ready-made maps, valuation studies of the buildings, field surveys for the areas and structures to be created. In the following process, meetings will be held at each project stage and briefings will be made.
