After the earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 in Kahramanmaraş, Pazarcık and 7.6 in Elbistan, which affected 10 provinces, studies are continuing. While search and rescue teams continue to be present in the region, improvement activities are carried out uninterruptedly.

In the region affected by the earthquake, 332 tent cities and 360.167 tents were established. The number of citizens provided with shelter in tents is 1.440.668. While the creation of 189 container cities continues in the region, the infrastructure work and installation of 90.914 containers continues. The number of citizens provided with shelter in containers, 34.120. In the shelter areas, an additional 2.284 mobile showers and 5.058 toilet containers were put into use. The total number of citizens who were given shelter in the region affected by the earthquake was 1.593.808. In other provinces, housing services are provided to a total of 329.960 citizens affected by the disaster.

After the earthquake, a total of 35.250 search and rescue personnel worked in the region, and there are active search and rescue personnel in the field. A total of 4.667 personnel have worked in the region so far in order to carry out all the services needed in the disaster. In the activities in the region, 271.060 personnel still work.

In the region, a total of 18.048 heavy equipment continues to operate. 75 aircraft and 108 helicopters are used in the works.

There are 369 mobile kitchens sent by the Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, MSB, Gendarmerie and NGOs to meet the nutritional needs of those affected by the disaster. To date, a total of 97.451.326 hot meals have been served in the region. 13.011.882 soup, 15.083.689 food packages and packaged food were distributed.

In order to determine the structures damaged in the earthquake, damage assessment work was completed in 1.538.009 buildings and 4.765.345 independent sections.

The 10.000 TL Per Household Support payment for the citizens affected by the earthquake was transferred to the accounts of 1.025.204 earthquake victims.
