Petroleum Istanbul Fair was Held with the Main Theme of 'We Wrap Our Wounds Together'

The leading energy and oil companies of Turkey and the world came together at the Petroleum Istanbul and Gas&Power Network fairs held at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between 16-18 March.

Bringing together the biggest players of the sector for more than 26 years, Petroleum Istanbul exhibited the latest technological products and services that shape the present and future of the energy sector. Recently, electric vehicles and e-charging stations, which have grown in Turkey as well as in the world, have attracted great interest.

To the opening of the fairs; ETKB Natural Resources Department Head Leman Çetiner, Koç Holding Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç, TİSK President Özgür Burak Akkol, PETDER President Yüksel Yılmaz, Turkish LPG Association President Eyüp Aratay, ADER President Mihajlo Djurovic, PÜİS President İmran Okumuş, TABGİS President Murat Bilgin, representatives of the sector and exhibitors and visitors attended. The speeches made at the ceremony were marked by the ongoing support of the energy sector since the first day of the earthquake. Industry leaders, who are one heart in Petroleum Istanbul, gave the message “We Are All Bandaging Our Wounds Together”.

Hosted by Enerji Fuarcılık A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Akıncı, in his statement, drew attention to the fact that the fuel sector, which was the most important sector that passed a successful test in the earthquake and was perhaps the most surviving sector, took place in Petroleum Istanbul together with all its players. Expressing that more than 16 products from 400 countries such as China, Russia, Iran and England, which are among the international target markets of the sector, were exhibited at the fair this year and 42.386 visitors were attended, Akıncı underlined that Petroleum Istanbul also grows and develops with the sector. Energy Fairs Inc. Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Akıncı pointed out that the sector will come together again in November 2023 at the 13th Turkey Energy Summit, the “Traditional and Largest Family Gathering” of the Turkish energy market.

THE ENERGY INDUSTRY HAS THE DARUSSAFAKA EARTHQUAKE SUPPORT CAMPAIGN

The energy sector embraced the Darüşşafaka Earthquake Support Campaign at Petroleum Istanbul. Within the scope of the cooperation of Energy Fair Organization with Darüşşafaka Educational Institutions in order to support the education of children who lost their families in the earthquake; The institution collected donations for the campaign during the Petroleum Fair. Energy Fairs Inc. 100 thousand TL was donated to be a pioneer in the sector.

FUEL INDUSTRY HAS A FULL STAFF IN PETROLEUM ISTANBUL

16th International Petroleum, LPG, Mineral Oil Equipment and Technologies Fair “Petroleum Istanbul” and 5th Electricity, Natural Gas and Alternative Energy, Equipment and Technologies Fair “Gas & Power Network” fairs, fuel, petroleum, LPG, natural gas, electricity, alternative companies from sub-sectors that offer products and services to these sectors with their energy and mineral oil equipment and technologies. In addition, the representatives of the products that have an important place in sales in the station markets, which draw attention day by day with their growing market share, the managers of the franchising brands and other suppliers were among the visitors of Petroleum Istanbul.

ACADEMY TALKS AND TURKEY'S BIGGEST DEALER MEETING ATTRACTED HIGH ATTENTION

Within the scope of Petroleum Istanbul Academy Speeches, expert speakers took part; “Earthquake Regulations at Fuel Stations and Energy Facilities”, “Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations”, “New Generation Payment Recording Device Application at Stations”, “Roof SPP Applications at Fuel Stations”, “TSE and Fuel Industry Activities – Meter Measurements, Vapor Recycling Systems etc”, “Qualitative Challenges of the Fuel Retail Industry and Potential Solutions” were hosted. Petroleum Istanbul also hosted Turkey's largest Dealer Meeting, where 18 thousand dealers were represented.
