Turkish Armed Forces Distributed Hot Meals and 40 thousand 557 Food Packages to 600 Thousand Persons in the Earthquake Zone

Search and rescue efforts continue after the earthquake, the epicenter of which is Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and affecting 10 provinces in total.

While responding to the demands received by the Disaster Emergency Crisis Desk established within the Ministry of National Defense after the earthquake, an "air aid corridor" was created to deliver search and rescue teams to the region.

However, the Turkish Armed Forces mobilized to help earthquake victims.

In the regions affected by the earthquake, hot meals for 40 thousand people, 557 thousand 600 food packages and 240 thousand 400 breads have been distributed to the citizens so far.

In addition, 34 field kitchens sent to the regions were established and started their activities. In addition to these, 15 mobile toilets and 14 mobile bathrooms were sent to the earthquake-affected areas.

In addition to these, all barracks, especially the 2nd Army Command, were opened to the service of citizens affected by the earthquake.

In addition to the search and rescue efforts of the Mehmetçik, aid efforts for citizens affected by the earthquake continue.
