SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, quickly started relief efforts for the region after the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and affected the Southeastern Anatolia Region.
SunExpress organized 8 special flights with the coordination of relevant official institutions and organizations in order to bring search and rescue and medical teams to the region as soon as possible. In addition, it will provide free domestic cargo service for all humanitarian aid materials sent to the earthquake area.
The “Guardian Angels” team of SunExpress volunteers took action to collect and transfer the necessary materials according to the list of needs announced by the official institutions.
In addition, SunExpress will offer free ticket changes and cancellation rights for all domestic and international flights departing from/arriving in Adana, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Mardin and Malatya between 6-13 February 2023.
