“An earthquake affecting 10 provinces. From the very first moment, we started to gather at AFAD with all our ministers and made the necessary assignments. Our President has been following and managing the earthquake from the very first moment. Our teams are in the field.
We lost 70 of our citizens in Kahramanmaraş. We expect these numbers to increase. 200 injured, 300 buildings were destroyed in Maraş. There are 4 deaths, 7 injuries and 200 destruction in Hatay. 20 missing, 200 injured and 83 destroyed buildings in Osmaniye; 13 missing, 22 injured, 100 destroyed buildings in Adıyaman; 14 deaths in Diyarbakır; Urfa 18 missing, 200 injured, 60 destroyed buildings; 80 dead and 581 destroyed buildings in Antep; 8 die, 50 destruction in Kilis; 10 dead, 118 injured in Adana; There are 47 dead, 550 injured and 300 destroyed buildings in Malatya. Total; There are 284 casualties, 2323 injured and 1710 destroyed buildings.
Aftershocks are the dangerous ones. If the buildings are damaged and not destroyed, a small-scale aftershock is likely to destroy the building. In the works, these buildings will be checked one by one with our relevant engineers.
