Science TIRI, put into service by Konya Metropolitan Municipality Konya Science Center in order to increase students' interest in science, is now meeting with earthquake survivors in Hatay.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay said that since the first day of the earthquake, they have been working hard to meet all kinds of human needs such as infrastructure, logistics, water works, shelter, mobile kitchen, communication and energy supply in Hatay.
Noting that they also sent the Science TIRI, which serves under the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, to Hatay to contribute to the healing of the earthquake's wounds and to give morale to the children, Mayor Altay said, "We have sent our Science TIRI within the Konya Science Center to make our children who were affected by the earthquake forget the great fear they experienced, even to a bit. Hatay's; We meet with our children in the tent cities of Altınözü, Antakya, Arsuz, Belen, Defne, Hassa, İskenderun, Kırıkhan, Kumlu, Payas, Samandağ and Yayladağı. I invite all our children. I hope we will heal the wounds of this great disaster that shook our country deeply," he said.
The earthquake survivors, who both met with science and had fun in the Science TIRI, stated that they were very happy and thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality.
