We closely follow the ongoing efforts for the immediate rescue of all our citizens trapped under the rubble in disaster areas. We wish God's strength and strength to all our officers involved in search and rescue efforts.

In the face of such a disaster, it is important that the central government works in strong cooperation and coordination with local governments without making any discrimination. We will overcome these difficult days with the support and prayers of our nation, together with the works to be carried out in coordination and meticulousness by all our relevant state institutions, especially AFAD and our municipalities. As one heart of 85 million, we will quickly heal all our wounds in solidarity, and we will overcome this disaster in unity and solidarity.

To strictly follow all warnings of AFAD during this disaster process; absolutely not to enter damaged structures, communication to be made via short message service (SMS) and internet-based messaging software; We submit to the information of our citizens that phone calls are avoided except for vital situations, that the roads are left empty for search and rescue teams and emergency aid vehicles, that the assistance to be provided is carried out in coordination with the relevant public institutions and local administrations, and that all these issues are strictly observed. We are united as Turkey. Our prayers are for all our citizens in the earthquake area.”
