To date, 515 thousand 751 blankets, 324 tents, 46 containers, toilets and showers, 232 portable toilets, 67 generators, 10 thousand 143 stoves and heaters, 7 thousand 700 quilts, 855 thousand 263 pieces of clothing, 20 thousand 340 hygienic package, 16 thousand 91 packages of hygienic pads, 26 thousand 443 food packages, 33 thousand 798 diapers and formula, 677 thousand liters of drinking water, 182 tons of fuel, 5 and a half tons of fruit, 35 thousand 519 liters of milk and tons of humanitarian aid materials were sent. Within the scope of the Milk Lamb project, the implementation of milk distribution for children in Izmir in the region created satisfaction.
Donations approached 66 million liras
48 million 41 thousand 833 liras of aid was provided to be delivered to the region from the address “umuthareketi.izmir.bel.tr”, which enables the purchase of humanitarian aid materials needed by earthquake victims. A contribution of 17 million 930 thousand TL was made through “birkirabiryuva.org”, which brings together citizens who lost their homes in the earthquake and people who want to give rent support or open their empty houses for use. With the campaign, 187 people declared that they will provide rent support and 600 people will share their houses. The total amount of aid reached 65 million 971 thousand 833 liras. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will also pay the 3-month electricity and water bills of the earthquake victims who settled in their houses with the One Rent One Home campaign in Izmir.
