Combat Management System Integration for GÜR Class Submarines

“ADVENT-MÜREN SYS and AKYA Integration Project” was signed between TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and the Naval Forces Command for GÜR Class Submarines.

The signing ceremony was attended by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM President Dr. Ali Görçin, Istanbul Naval Supply Group Commander, Recruit Colonel. Onur Çamlı, Naval Technical Commander Eng. Cihat Eryiğit, Research Center Commander Eng. Colonel. Along with Mehmet Gökhan Metin, the officers of the Turkish National Police and BİLGEM participated.

In the past, our PREVEZE and AY class submarines, which have the MUREN Combat Management System (SYS) family, were equipped with AKYA firing capability. With this new contract signed, the said capability will also be provided to our GÜR Class submarines.

In addition, within the scope of this Project; The foundations of the ADVENT-MÜREN Combat Management System will be laid by bringing together the ADVENT Combat Management System used in our surface ships and the MÜREN Combat Management System developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM for our PREVEZE Class submarines.

The ADVENT-MÜREN Combat Management System, which will be created by bringing together the most powerful and advanced capabilities of both systems, is aimed to be used in all our submarines, especially in the GÜR class Half-Life Modernization and National Submarine projects.
