Gate Charity, the non-profit charity of the global cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io, is donating 1 million Turkish lira to support those affected by the earthquake in Turkey. The exchange also released an earthquake-specific NFT collection to create an additional support network. All proceeds from NFT sales will be donated to organizations involved in the work.
Gate Charity, the non-profit charity of Gate.io, is donating 1 million Turkish lira to support citizens affected by the earthquake in Turkey. The Gate TR team continues to work in cooperation with the authorities in order to use the donations in line with the needs.
Gate Charity has partnered with Gate NFT by launching a charitable NFT collection to raise additional donations for earthquake work. After the cooperation, the officials who brought the Earthquake Solidarity NFT Collection to life announced that all the proceeds from the sale of the relevant NFTs will be donated directly to AHBAP, AFAD and relevant official institutions.

Expressing their deep concern for the citizens affected by the earthquake, Gate TR Country Manager Kafkas Sönmez said, “With Gate Charity, we donated 1 million TL in order to support our citizens who were victimized by the disaster and to contribute to the works carried out after the earthquake. On the other hand, we launched the Earthquake Solidarity NFT Collection to increase support globally. We will donate all the income we get from here to the relevant institutions that take an active part in the works. With this step, we hope to support our citizens in the region. In the coming days, we can take new steps in line with the needs by acting in cooperation with the authorities.” said.
The details of the Earthquake Solidarity NFT Collection are as follows:
- 500 pcs Silver NFT Series: $10 per piece
- 250 pcs Gold NFT Series, Quantity: $50
- 250 pcs Platinum NFT series, Quantity: 250 dollars
