In the trainings held in Bağcılar Municipality Information Houses, earthquake awareness lesson is given to the students. The little ones are informed about what to do before and during the earthquake.
Two earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, centered 7.7 and 7.6, also deeply affected children. In this context, Bağcılar Municipality has started to organize trainings in order to inform children and to ensure that they are prepared for earthquakes. For this purpose, lessons on earthquake awareness began to be given in the Information Houses, which became the second address of children in the district.
What are the psychological effects of earthquake?
The first leg of the two-stage training takes place in the conference room. Here, trainers make presentations on the definition of an earthquake, how it occurs, preparation for an earthquake, ways to protect itself from an earthquake, and what to do in the event of an earthquake. In the second stage, the guidance teachers in the classrooms give information about the psychological effects of the earthquake and rehabilitation.
