Freight Vehicle Traffic on National Highways in China Increased by 10,81 Percent

On February 7, the number of trucks passing through the highways in China increased by 10,81 percent compared to the previous month and reached 6 million 197 thousand.

According to the information provided by the China State Council Logistics Studies Leadership Group, the amount of cargo carried by rail transport across the country reached 10,66 million tons yesterday. This number decreased by 0,63 percent compared to the previous month.

Yesterday, the goods processing capacity of ports across the country increased by 5,4 percent compared to the previous month and reached 29 million 999 thousand tons. The container handling capacity of ports in China decreased by 4,1 percent compared to the previous month and became 616 thousand containers.

The number of civilian aircraft flying in China yesterday decreased by 3,3 percent and reached 13 thousand 970.

The number of purchases of mail across the country increased by 9,4 percent compared to the previous month and was recorded as 349 million, while the number of deliveries of mail decreased by 6,9 percent and was recorded as 335 million.
