2022 production year diesel and fertilizer support payments will be made in cash for registered farmers in provinces damaged by earthquakes and declared disaster areas.

The Presidential Decision on the subject was published in the Official Gazette.

With the regulation, the “Decision on Agricultural Supports to be Made in 2022 and the Support for the Use of Certified Seeds to be Implemented in 2023” was amended.

Accordingly, 6 production year diesel and fertilizer support payments will be made in cash for farmers registered in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) in provinces that were damaged due to the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake that took place on February 2022 and were declared disaster areas.

In all our provinces, after completing the EQS and support applications for the production year subject to this communiqué, the support amounts defined to be used in the purchase of diesel and fertilizer to the accounts of the deceased farmers in Ziraat Bank will be paid in cash to their heirs if they apply to Ziraat Bank.

With the decision, changes were made regarding the basin-based difference payment support. In this context, the support in question was increased from 110 kurus to 160 kurus per kilogram for unseed cotton, and from 50 kurus to 70 kurus for oil sunflower.

In addition, the “Turkey Agricultural Basins Production and Support Model List” was prepared. Afyonkarahisar-Başmakçı, Kastamonu-Daday, Kastamonu-Devrekani, Kastamonu-center, Kastamonu-Seydiler, Kastamonu-Taşköprü, Kırıkkale-Balıseyh, Kırıkkale-Keskin, Konya-Ahırlı, Konya-Halkapınar, Niğde-Ulukışla, Samsun-Alacam Additions were made to the products supported in the Asarcık, Samsun-Bafra, Samsun-Havza, Samsun-Salıpazarı and Samsun-Vezirköprü basins.

The decision entered into force with effect from 1 January 2022.
