İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Eşrefpaşa Hospital teams started emergency interventions in Antakya, one of the provinces affected by the earthquake. Eşrefpaşa Hospital, which provides voluntary health services at Antakya State Hospital, continues its work with a team of 25 people.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Eşrefpaşa Hospital doctors arrived in Hatay Antakya after the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and affected 10 provinces. Reaching the area at 07.00:25 today, the medical teams started emergency response. Expressing that the medical team of 6 people started working at Antakya State Hospital without wasting time, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Chief Physician Opr. Dr. Yavuz Uçar said, “Our team includes specialist doctors, general practitioners, anesthesia technicians, paramedics, nurses and emergency medicine technicians. We are on the field with 8 ambulances, two of which are AKS ambulances, and 5 drivers. We gave our first aid to Ismihak Hamdi and 11-year-old Rammah Mahamid, who were pulled out of the rubble yesterday, in Antakya. Today, we gave first aid to XNUMX-year-old Sarrah Mahamit, who was pulled out of the rubble. Our puppies are in good health. First aids are very important. We will work hard with our ambulances and doctors. As İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Eşrefpaşa Hospital, we stand by the earthquake victims.”
