The Istanbul Governor's Office stated that the claims and shares that the earthquake victims who came to the city were given a "disaster card" from the Governor's Office and the district governor's offices do not reflect the truth.
In a written statement from the governor's office:
The claims and shares that our citizens who came to Istanbul were given a "Disaster Victim Card" from our Governor's Office and District Governor's Office do not reflect the truth.
As stated in the statements made by our AFAD Presidency; It is not possible to request any card or document during the applications of our disaster victims to meet their food, clothing, shelter and similar needs.
In the applications to be made to all our institutions and organizations, it is sufficient to state the TR Identity Number.
