Against the background of the turbulent global economy and trade environment in 2022, electric vehicles, photovoltaic products and lithium batteries have become the new growth points in China's exports. According to the information provided by the China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA), the total export volume of photovoltaic products in the country reached 51,25 billion dollars last year. This figure has increased by 2021 percent compared to $28,4 billion in 80.

In terms of terminal product components of the photovoltaic manufacturing industry chain, the export volume and export volume of photovoltaic modules reached record levels last year. Europe, which accounts for approximately 55 percent of the export volume of photovoltaic modules, is China's most important export market with an increase of 10,9 percent compared to the previous year. As a transfer station for the export of photovoltaic modules in Europe, the Netherlands maintains the top position in China's photovoltaic module export market segment.

The massive increase in demand in the European market is due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and concerns over rising energy prices making the energy independence plan more urgent than ever. According to statistics from the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA), newly installed photovoltaic capacity in 2022 EU countries increased by 27 percent annually in 47, more than double that of 2020.
