Summarizing the common point as reducing foreign dependency in industry and technology and being a global actor, Şahin said, “In this sense, Aselsan is one of the companies that are the apple of our country's eye and a source of pride. The fields of standardization, conformity assessment and training, which are the main fields of activity of our institute, cut all sectors horizontally. Therefore, one of our main goals as the Institute is to reduce the costs of our industrialists and increase the quality level by strengthening our infrastructure regarding the needs of our industrialists in the field of conformity assessment and training, on the one hand, and to reduce foreign dependence in the conformity assessment sector and increase the localization and domestic ratio on the other hand. In this direction, one of the most fundamental stakeholders of our Institute is Aselsan.” said.

Aselsan's exports per kg are around one thousand dollars. That's why I sometimes say these things to encourage and add new players in addition to our subcontractors on the field and the companies we work with. Anyone can be a part of the defense industry.” said.

“SAMPLE STUDY”

Görgün stated that they serve as a school, a guidance and a mentor, and while doing these, they also bear the responsibility to meet Turkey's technological needs in the civil field, with the knowledge gained in the defense industry such as systems, engineering and design, and continued: “I find today's cooperation very meaningful. We have a lot of work to do together. Our employees are good engineers. They are our friends who came out of good schools, worked in Turkey's most prestigious institution, and shed a lot of sweat in projects that were popular for years. You also have very important field experience. With this experience, we will serve our country. I hope that these approaches will set an example for other distinguished companies, and they will continue.
