It has been reported that the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has established a special unit to follow up the increased dues for the estates after the reactions to the estate administrations due to the high fees.

LEGISLATION STUDIES WILL ALSO BE CONDUCTED

A unit was established under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, General Directorate of Vocational Services, to carry out legislative studies on companies providing site management services subject to the 'Condominium Law No. 634'.

In the written statement made by the Ministry, “The name of the Housing Policies Branch, which operates under the Building Cooperatives Directorate in the General Directorate of Professional Services, has been changed to the Housing Policies and Facility Management Services Branch. In order to protect the rights of the flat owners, to carry out legislative studies on the companies operating in the management of residences and workplaces with more than one independent section in accordance with the 'Condominium Ownership Law No. 634, in cooperation with the relevant public institutions and organizations, to solve the problems of the site managements. In order to carry out activities, a unit was established under the General Directorate of Vocational Services of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and became operational.

It was stated that the unit will also carry out secondary legislation studies after the completion of the legal regulation, and said, "Thus, a gap in the life of the site management has been eliminated and an important step will be recorded in reducing the management problems experienced in the sites with the completion of the secondary legislation studies."
