IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu, by solving the 50-year-old property problem, delivered the keys to the 25st stage right holders of Eyüpsultan Yeşilpınar Houses, the foundation of which was laid on May 2021, 1. Speaking at the key delivery ceremony, İmamoğlu emphasized that the mind of the ruling wing is still in the IMM election, which they lost. “If you don't like the people's decision, you will look for the problem elsewhere, not in the citizen; Saying "2 times 2, 4", İmamoğlu said, "Those who are allergic to the nation's decision, cancel the election and say, 'I cried when I lost Istanbul'; These are strange people. Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding it too. These are examples that we have never encountered in world politics or even in national politics. But we will never allow 16 million people to ignore their will. Together with our nation, we will stand before them like a mountain.” Reacting to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change's opening of the Orhaniye Barracks in Beşiktaş Yıldız Park, İmamoğlu said, “The second Abdülhamid Han was the one who built the barracks. Today's government, especially Abdulhamit Han, think that they belong only to them and they act like this, expressing that they are very sensitive to him. But do you know how far the precision is in their notebook? Up to the gate. When they see the rant, all the sensitivities are gone”. “I sometimes see the beautiful people of our strong Turkey as hopeless or I hear them say hopeless sentences, I live,” said İmamoğlu, adding, “Never lose your hope. We will overcome the difficulties together. Tevfik Fikret has a good saying: 'Victory requires a little damage'. Yes, we have damage, but before we magnify the damage, we're going to send this handful of people. I promise you: a 'Ekrem İmamoğlu Let me say it as a word. Here, as a brother, fellow countryman, mayor, who handed over their title deeds to you, I say; As a nation, together we will achieve that beautiful transformation of this country.”

KİPTAŞ, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), started the delivery of flats for Eyüpsultan Yeşilpınar Evleri, the first urban transformation project, which was laid in the new administration period, in stages. Eyüpsultan Yeşilpınar Houses, the foundation of which was laid on May 50, 25, with the 2021-year property problem resolved, consists of a total of 664 independent units, including 14 residences and 678 shops. CITIZENS CELEBRATE REGAIP CANDILI

Congratulating the citizens of Regaip Kandili at the beginning of his speech, İmamoğlu said, "It is good to receive prayers on such a beautiful day." Reminding that one of the most important issues of Istanbul is urban transformation, İmamoğlu said, “In this process, we are enjoying the pleasure of winning such a work. Since the first day we took office, we have been in a careful search for 'how to do, how to do'. For urban transformation, I said especially to my friends, 'We will enter the neighborhood, street by street, we will save our people from those crippled houses'. Today, we are walking towards that goal together. Eyüpsultan Yeşilpınar Houses is one of the exemplary works of this process. It is an example of urban transformation, but not just an example of urban transformation. At the same time, it is actually an example of a mentality transformation in terms of view of the process, view of people, way of doing business, transparency, virtuous behavior and moral behavior.

“DESPITE ALL OBSTACLES, PROBLEMS ARE SOLVED WITHIN 18 MONTHS”

Emphasizing that they work with this understanding as İBB and KİPTAŞ administrations, İmamoğlu said, “This business is a very special one among them. There are 664 residences and 14 workplaces here. Today, I am proud to deliver the first phase of 155 flats, which is especially dominated by the beneficiaries.” Summarizing the legal and political processes in the region, İmamoğlu said, “I have followed closely the reconciliation with 192 independent units and 159 beneficiaries in a very short time, I know. In 18 months, despite all the obstacles, the problems were resolved and the foundation of Eyüpsultan Yeşilpınar Houses was laid at that time. Especially with the start of the construction, unfortunately, the works related to the blocking and the interventions with political motives continued. And unfortunately, exactly 6 months have been stolen from our time by stopping the constructions here. We could have delivered a large part of this place, just as we delivered your house today. But despite all this, and especially despite the economic difficulties, a process was managed by protecting people's pockets and ensuring that they were not particularly affected by these increases, in an environment where costs increased almost 1 to 3 percent. As a result of this transparent and ethical process, we have reached today”.

KURT: “THE PREVIOUS KİPTAŞ MANAGEMENT GAVE THE LAND FOR SALE”

KİPTAŞ General Manager Ali Kurt also shared details about the construction process of Eyüpsultan Yeşilpınar Houses in his speech. According to Kurt's information; Block 487, parcel 12, owned by KİPTAŞ, was declared a risky area by the Council of Ministers in 2016 due to unplanned construction and unstable building stock. The land was put up for sale by the previous KİPTAŞ management for 14 million 227 thousand liras. The new management, headed by İmamoğlu, who took office in 2019, canceled the sale decision and started working on the on-site transformation project. On December 2, 2019, the “Reconciliation Office” was opened in the neighborhood. The contracts are in the signing phase. Citizens with an agreement were evacuated from risky structures one by one. Relocation and rental assistance began to be made. Reconciliation processes with a realistic and concrete solution were completed within 18 months. A compromise was reached with each right holder. KİPTAŞ, which built earthquake-resistant houses in the region in question, has solved the 50-year property problem by giving their title deeds to the right holders. With KİPTAŞ Eyüpsultan Yeşil Pınar Houses, a design-oriented project will be built that will add value to the region with its social facilities and green areas, away from dense construction. An open site will be designed, 60 percent of which is green space, with playgrounds and gathering areas. A nursery, library and family health center will be built within the scope of the project. All areas will not stay behind the walls and will be open to everyone in Eyüpsultan Yeşil Pınar Mahallesi.
