Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said that the lines of the 4,7 kilometers long and 30 meters wide road connecting Erciyes Boulevard to Talas Boulevard and having a strategic importance in terms of transportation have been drawn and the works have been completed.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts day and night for a more comfortable and safe transportation.

In this context, in order to increase the transportation network of the city and to offer a more comfortable transportation, the works for the opening of the road, which is approximately 4,7 kilometers long and 30 meters wide, which will connect Erciyes Boulevard to Talas Boulevard and located within the boundaries of Erenköy District of Melikgazi district, have been completed.

Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, in his statement on the subject, stated that the teams also drew the lines of the roads where asphalt paving was carried out.

Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that they are continuing their efforts to expand the transportation network of the city and offer a more comfortable and safe transportation opportunity to the citizens. He stated that the opening work has been completed.

Büyükkılıç said that the road platform was opened by expropriating the debris of the structures and annexes on the road route in the areas cleared by zoning implementation.

Emphasizing that the road lines were drawn after the infrastructure and asphalting works on the part of Erenköy Boulevard between Commando Street and Talas Boulevard, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “We connected Erciyes Boulevard to Talas Boulevard. A total of 750 thousand tons of asphalt was laid on the road by the devoted teams of the Metropolitan, together with the last stage of 15 meters. After the asphalt pavement, the road lines were drawn and our work was completed," he said.

Büyükkılıç expressed that they will work for safer, more comfortable and shorter roads in the city and thanked all the team who contributed.
