Erciyes Becomes a Sister Ski Resort with Ischgl

A “Twin Ski Resorts” agreement was signed between Austria's world-famous ski resort Ischgl and Turkey's largest ski center Erciyes.

A cooperation agreement was signed between Erciyes, Turkey's Alps, with state-of-the-art cable cars, tracks at international standards, modern accommodation facilities and transportation facilities, and Ischgl Ski Center, which is located on the border of Austria and Switzerland with a history of nearly 100 years and is called 'Ibiza of the Alps'.

It was signed in Ischgl in Innsbruck, the capital of the Austrian state of Tyrol, between Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Günther Zangerl, CEO of Ischgl & Samnaun Ski Center, and Jürgen Kurz, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Preferred by the best skiers in the world, Iscghl is one of the largest ski resorts in Europe with 45 mechanical facilities, 65 and 250 km long tracks spread over Austria and Switzerland. At the same time, it is one of the favorite winter venues of world society with its 'Top of the Mountain' concerts where world-famous names such as Elton John, Tina Turner, Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi and Sting take part.

With the cooperation agreement, Erciyes A.Ş. It is aimed to make sectoral alliances in many different areas such as technical personnel exchange, sharing management experiences, acting together in social and sports activities, marketing and promotion between its employees and Ischgl-Samnaun Ski Center. With the agreement between Erciyes, which stands out as the most preferred winter destination by domestic and foreign tourists in Turkey, and Isghgl, Europe's global ski center, a skier who takes a vacation in one of the sister ski resorts will also have the opportunity to ski for free in the other. Within the framework of the protocol, joint social responsibility projects will be implemented between the sister ski resorts.

Erciyes Ski Center, which broke new ground in the world skiing community and became more and more recognized in the international arena every year, will accelerate its steps towards becoming a world brand by bringing Austria's winter tourism experience to Kayseri and our country in cooperation with “Twin Ski Resorts”.
